Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on May 25 - June 1, 2023

According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains unchanged from May 25 to June 1, 2023.

The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Minsk, Brest and Grodno are 0.10 mSv/hour (10 μR/hour), in Vitebsk and Gomel - 0.11 mSv/hour (11 μR/hour), in Mogilev – 0.12 mSv/hour (12 μR/hour), which corresponds to the established long-term values.

Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rates are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: Bragin – 0.48 mSv/hour (48 μR/hour), Slavgorod – 0.19 mSv/hour (19 μR/hour).
