Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on March 21 - 28, 2024
According to the Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains unchanged from March 21 to 28, 2024.
The dose rate levels of gamma radiation in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk and Grodno are 0.10 µSv/hour (10 µR/hour), in Gomel – 0.11 µSv/hour (11 µR/hour), in Mogilev – 0.12 µSv/hour (12 µR/hour), which corresponds to established long-term values.Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rate are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: Bragin – 0.47 µSv/hour (47 µR/hour), Slavgorod – 0.17 µSv/hour (17 µR/hour).
