Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on June 4, 2026
According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Pollution and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk, and Mogilev are 0.10 μSv/h, in Gomel are 0.11 μSv/h, which correspond to natural background radiation levels.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the cities of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.45 μSv/h and 0.19 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term values and are attributed to the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
