Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on January 4 - 11, 2024
According to the Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains unchanged from January 4 to 11, 2024.
The dose rate levels of gamma radiation in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel and Grodno are 0.10 µSv/hour (10 µR/hour), in Mogilev - 0.13 µSv/hour (13 µR/hour) which corresponds to established long-term values.
Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rate are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: Bragin – 0.40 µSv/hour (40 µR/hour), Slavgorod – 0.18 µSv/hour (18 µR/hour).
