Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on February 1 - 8, 2024
According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains unchanged from February 1 to February 8, 2024.
The dose rate levels of gamma radiation in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk and Grodno are 0.10 µSv/hour (10 µR/hour), in Gomel – 0.11 µSv/hour (11 µR/hour), in Mogilev – 0.12 µSv/hour (12 µR/hour), which corresponds to established long-term values.
Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rates are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: Bragin – 0.43 µSv/hour (43 µR/hour), Slavgorod – 0.17 µSv/hour (17 µR/hour).
When using the information reference to Belhydromet is obligatory
