Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from September 18 to September 24, 2025)

The state institution «Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring» informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from September 18 to September 24, 2025.

On September 17, 2025, at 19:00, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide in the air of Mogilev in the area of house №10 on Pervomayskaya Street was 2.2 MPC (a southerly wind with a speed of 1 m/s was observed, the air temperature was +16.4°C, relative humidity was 75%), the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 2.0 MPC (there was a calm, southerly, southwesterly, westerly, west-southwesterly wind with a speed of 1-2 m/s, the air temperature ranged from +14.4°C to +17.5°C, relative humidity was from 74% to 96%). In the area of Kashtanova St.,5 on September 17, 2025. The average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.61 MPC. In the area at house №10 on Pervomaiskaya Street on September 18, 2025, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.46 times (calm was observed, west-northwesterly, westerly, southwesterly winds with a speed of 1-4 m/s, air temperature ranged from +10.4°C to +18.3°C, relative humidity ranged from 62% to 98%).

In the air of Dobrush in the area of Engels St.,1 оn September 18, 2025, the average daily concentration of formaldehyde was 1.35 MPC, on September 19, 2025, from 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 a.m., 4 cases of exceeding the maximum single MPC for formaldehyde by 1.08 – 1.31 times were recorded (a northerly wind with a speed of 1-2 m/s was observed, the air temperature ranged from +9.2°C to +10.1°C, relative humidity – 100%), the average daily concentration of formaldehyde was 1.39 MPC, on September 20, 2025 from 19:40 to 23:00 11 cases of exceeding the maximum single maximum permissible concentration for formaldehyde by 1.07 – 1.94 times were recorded (calm was observed, the air temperature ranged from +11.3°C to +15.1°C, relative humidity ranged from 79% to 94%), the average daily concentration of formaldehyde was 1.44 maximum permissible concentration, on September 21, 2025 at 11:40 a single case of exceeding the maximum single maximum permissible concentration for formaldehyde by 1.07 times (a northerly wind with a speed of 3 m/s was observed, the air temperature was +23.0°C, relative humidity was 64%), on September 21, 2025 from 19:20 to 00:00, 6 cases of exceeding the maximum single maximum permissible concentration for formaldehyde in 1.01 – 1.29 maximum permissible concentration (calm was observed, north wind with a speed of 1 m/s, air temperature ranged from +11.2°C to +21.5°C, relative humidity was from 64% to 95%), the average daily concentration of formaldehyde was 1.90 MPC, on September 22, 2025, the average daily concentration of formaldehyde was 1.28 MPC.

In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya St.,12 оn September 22, 2025, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size, was 1.03 MPC (there was a south-southwesterly wind with a speed of 1 m/s, gusts up to 9 m/s, air temperature ranged from +15.2°C to +28.7°C, relative humidity – from 42% to 91%).
