Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from October 26th to 2nd of November, 2022)

The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from October 27 to November 2, 2022.

In the air of Minsk in the area of Korzhenevsky street on October 28, 2022, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide slightly (by 1.02 times) exceeded the MPC standard (south-westerly wind with an average speed of 2 m/s prevailed, gusts up to 5 m/s, haze, fog were observed, air temperature ranged from +5.1°C to +11.9°C, relative humidity – from 86% to 99%). In the area of Korzhenevsky Street on October 29, 2022 at 10:40 a.m. the concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.18 times (there was a south-westerly wind with an average speed of 3 m/s, gusts up to 6 m/s, rain, haze, air temperature was +12.0°C, relative humidity – 98%). In the area of Korzhenevsky Street on November 1, 2022, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.21 times (calm prevailed, south wind with a speed of 1-2 m/s, air temperature ranged from -1.1°C to +8.0°C, relative humidity – from 70% to 98%). In the area of Korzhenevsky Street on November 2, 2022 at 07:00 h. concentration nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.06 times, nitrogen oxide – by 1.02 times; at 07:20 hours nitrogen dioxide – by 1.10 times, nitrogen oxide – by 1.08 times; at 07:40 hours nitrogen dioxide – by 1.08 times, nitrogen oxide – by 1.07 times; at 08:00 hours nitrogen dioxide nitrogen dioxide and nitrogen oxide – by 1.13 times; at 08:20 h. nitrogen dioxide – by 1.04 times; at 08:40 h. nitrogen dioxide – by 1.37 times, nitrogen oxide – by 1.49 times (calm, haze, air temperature was -0.7°C, relative humidity – 98%); in 09:00 h. nitrogen dioxide – 1.28 times, nitrogen oxide – 1.38 times; at 09:20 h. nitrogen dioxide – 1.29 times, nitrogen oxide – 1.40 times; at 09:40 h. nitrogen dioxide – 1.20 times, nitrogen oxide – 1.19 times; at 10:00 h. nitrogen dioxide – 1.24 times, nitrogen oxide – 1.14 times; at 10:20 h. nitrogen dioxide – 1.32 times, nitrogen oxide – 1.24 times; at 10:40 h. nitrogen dioxide – 1.21 times, nitrogen oxide - 1.04 times; at 11:00 h. nitrogen dioxide – 1.08 times (calm was observed, the air temperature was – 0.7°C, relative humidity – 98%). In the area of Korzhenevsky Street on November 2, 2022, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.75 times (calm prevailed, haze, rain were observed, air temperature ranged from -0.7°C to +8.9°C, relative humidity – from 79% to 98%).

In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya str., 12 on October 30, 2022, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size was 1.56 MPC (there was a northwest wind with an average speed of 4 m/s, gusts up to 13 m/s, air temperature ranged from +10.2°C to +14.4°C, relative humidity – from 53% up to 83%), November 2, 2022 – 1.10 MPC (calm prevailed, the air temperature ranged from +1.5°C to +11.5°C, relative humidity – from 57% to 96%).

In the air of Mogilev in the lane Krupskaya, in the area of house No. 5 on November 2, 2022, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size was 1.15 MPC, in the area of Schmidt Ave., 19 - 1.47 MPC, in the area of Movchansky Str., 4 – 1.07 MPC (calm prevailed, haze was observed, air temperature ranged from +2.3°C to +11.4°C, relative humidity – from 54% to 96%).

In the air of Polotsk in the area of residential building No. 9 on Yubileynaya Street on November 2, 2022 at 09:00 h. the concentration of nitrogen oxide was 1.05 MPC (calm was observed, the air temperature was +5.6°C, relative humidity – 94%).
