Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 7 to 13 of December, 2023)
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Pollution and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from December 7 to December 13, 2023.
In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya street,12 on December 8, 2023, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size was 1.10 MPC (there was an easterly wind with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 7 m/s, snow, drizzle, air temperature ranged from -6.6°C up to -4.5°C, relative humidity – from 88% to 92%).
In the air of Mogilev in the area of house No10 on Pervomaiskaya Street on December 8, 2023, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.2 times (there was an easterly, southeasterly wind with a speed of 1-3 m/s, snow, haze, air temperature ranged from -8.0°C to -6.2°C, relative humidity – from 82% to 85%. In this area on December 12, 2023 at 19:00 the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.1 MPC (south-easterly wind with a speed of 4 m/s, rain, air temperature +0.8°C, relative humidity – 98%), the average daily concentration exceeded the MPC standard by 1.3 times (south, south-easterly wind was observed with an average speed 2-4 m/s, haze, snow, rain, air temperature ranged from -1.0°C to +0.9°C, relative humidity – from 96% to 99%).
