Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 6 to 13 January 2021)
State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about exceeding of the quality standards of pollutants in the atmospheric air of cities of Belarus for the period from 6 to 13 January 2021.In the air of Pinsk in the area of Krasnoarmeiskaya street on January 11 at 19.00, a slight excess (1.1 times) of the quality standard for phenol was recorded (there was a weak South-Western wind, haze, the air temperature was -0.4°С, relative humidity - 93%).
In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya street on January 12, the average daily concentration of solid particles of fraction size up to 2.5 microns slightly exceeded the quality standard (1.2 times) (the South wind was observed at a speed of 1-3 m/s, the air temperature varied in the range from -2.8°С to -1.5°С, relative humidity varied in the range from 84% to 91%).
