Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 3 to 10 of January, 2024)
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from January 3 to January 10, 2024.
In the air of Mogilev in the area of house No.10 on Pervomaiskaya Street on January 3, 2024, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.03 times (north-easterly, easterly, south-easterly winds with a speed of 1-3 m/s, snow was observed, air temperature ranged from -12.2°C up to -16.6°C, relative humidity – from 72% to 74%).
In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya str.,12 on January 6,2024, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size was 1.48 MPC (there was westerly wind with an average speed of 1 m/s, wind gusts up to 7 m/s, haze, air temperature ranged from -12.8°C up to -5.1°C, relative humidity – from 80% to 94%).
