Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 28 November to 4 December, 2024)
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from November 28 to December 4, 2024.
In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya str.,12 on November 28, 2024, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size, was 1.14 MPC (south-south-easterly wind with an average speed of 1 m/s, gusts up to 4 m/s, snow, rain, were observed, air temperature ranged from -2.3°C to +2.5°C, relative humidity – from 92% to 98%), on December 3, 2024 MPC was 1.34 (south-southwesterly wind with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 8 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from -0.6°C to +3.5°C, relative humidity was from 91% to 96%).
In the air of Mogilev in the area of on Pervomaiskaya Street, 10 on November 28, 2024, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.1 times (there was a westerly wind, a weak southern quarter, haze, fog, air temperature ranged from -2.4°C to +1.1°C, relative humidity was from 97% up to 100%).
Due to the manufacturer's verification and maintenance of gas analyzers with a set of sensor devices, exceedances in the towns of Bereza, Dobrush, Smorgon and Molodechno will not be taken into account.
