Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 13 to 20 of December, 2023)
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from December 13 to December 20, 2023.
In the air of Mogilev in the area of Kashtanova str.,5 on December 13, 2023 at 13:00 h. the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.1 MPC (there was a south-easterly wind with a speed of 2 m/s, snow, the air temperature was 0°C, relative humidity – 98%), the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the standard MPC increased by 1.1 times (there was a southerly, southeasterly wind with a speed of 1-3 m/s, haze, snow, air temperature ranged from -0.3°C to +0.4°C, relative humidity – from 96% to 99%). In the area of Kashtanova str.,5 on December 15, 2023 at 13:00 h. the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.2 MPC (there was a west-northwest wind with a speed of 3 m/s, haze, air temperature -3.5°C, relative humidity – 94%), the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.2 times; in the area of house No. 10 on Pervomaiskaya Street, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded The MPC standard increased by 1.1 times (the wind of the northern quarter and the west were observed at a speed of 1-5 m/s, haze, snow, air temperature ranged from -7.3°C to -1.0°C, relative humidity – from 80% to 94%).
