Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 1 to 7 on April, 2021)

The state institution "Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring" informs about exceeding the quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from April 1 to April 7, 2021.
In the air of Gomel near Barykina st., there were cases of short-term exceeding of the quality standard for carbon oxide: on April 1 at 23:00 by 1.2 times (observed SouthWestern wind with a speed of 3 m/s, air temperature was +12.4°С, relative humidity was 52%), on April 5 at 20:20 by 1.6 times (a Southerly wind was observed at a speed of 3 m/s, the air temperature was +6.4°C, a relative humidity of 44%), on April 6 at 09:00 by 1.1 times (a Southerly wind was observed at a speed of 3 m/s, air temperature was +5.2°С, relative humidity was 60%). The average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size (hereinafter referred to as PM-10) in the indicated area on April 1 was 1.2 MAC (Southern, SouthWestern wind prevailed at a speed of 1-4 m/s, air temperature varied in the range from +6.7°С to +19.3°С, relative humidity range from 25% to 100%); on April 5 was 1.4 MAC (there was a Southern, SouthWestern wind with a speed of 1-6 m/s, the air temperature varied in the range from -1.0°С to +8.8°С, relative humidity range from 35% to 96%).
In the air of Zhlobin near Prigorodnaya st., 12 on April 1, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 (hereinafter - PM-2.5) exceeded the quality standard by 1.5 times (NorthWestern, westerly winds were observed at a speed of 3-4 m/s, calm, haze, air temperature varied in the range from +5.0°С to +19.3°С, relative humidity range from 28% to 97%); on April 5 by 1.8 times (there was a SouthWestern, Southern wind with a speed of 1-4 m/s, the air temperature varied in the range from -0.3°С to +10.3°С, relative humidity range from 35% to 71% ); on April 6 by 1.3 times (in the first half of the day there was a Southern, SouthWestern wind with a speed of 1-3 m/s, in the second half of the day was a weak wind of variable directions, calm, the air temperature varied in the range from +2.1°С to + 6.3°C, relative humidity range from 39% to 88%).
In the air, Minsk, near Geroev street, 120 Division, 15 on April 5, the average daily concentration of PM-2.5 was 1.6 MAC (a Southerly wind was observed at a speed of 3-7 m/s, the air temperature varied in the range from -3.2°С to + 9.3°С, relative humidity range from 43% to 85%). In the area of Radialnaya street, 50 on April 5 at 10:00 the concentration of solid particles (dust/aerosol undifferentiated by composition) exceeded the quality standard by 1.3 times, at 11:00 in the area of Timiryazeva street, 23 by 1.2 times, at 13:00 in the area of Shchorsa street, 5 by 1.1 times (the South wind was observed at a speed of 5-6 m/s, the air temperature varied from +2.7°С to +6.9°С, relative humidity range from 49% to 65%).
In the air of the city of Mogilev in the area of Schmidt Avenue, 19 on April 1, the average daily concentration of PM-10 was 1.1 MAC (the Western wind prevailed at a speed of 1-5 m/s, calm, haze was observed in the first half of the day, the air temperature varied from +4.0°C to +17.0°С, relative humidity range from 28% to 97%). In the area of Krupskaya lane, 5 on April 5, the average daily concentration of PM-10 was 3.7 MAC (Southern, South-Western winds with a speed of 1-5 m/s prevailed, the air temperature varied in the range from -2.0°С to +9.4°С, relative humidity range from 35% to 76%).
In the air of Brest near Severnaya str., 75 on April 5, the average daily concentration of PM-10 was 1.6 MPC (the Southwestern wind prevailed at a speed of 2-6 m/s, the air temperature varied in the range from +0.7°С to +12.2°С, relative humidity range from 39% to 89%).
