Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 1 to 7 of February, 2024)
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from February 1 to February 7, 2024.
In the air of Mogilev in the area of Pervomaiskaya Street, 10 on February 2, 2024 at 13:00 the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.1 MPC (a northwesterly wind with a speed of 5 m/s was observed, the air temperature was +1.0°C, relative humidity – 69%), the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.2 times (there was wind in the western quarter at a speed of 3-7 m/s, snow, air temperature ranged from +0.2°C to +2.5°C, relative humidity – from 51 % up to 82%).
