On September 17, on the Day of People's Unity, a meeting of the workforce was held with the Head of Belhydromet, delegate of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly Siarhei Khilman.

The event took place in the format of an open dialogue, where the leadership not only congratulated the employees on the state holiday, but also dwelt in detail on the deep historical and ideological aspects of this date.

Addressing the team, Sergey Anatolyevich emphasized that September 17, 1939 is not merely a historical fact, but a fateful milestone that became the starting point for the restoration of historical justice and the territorial integrity of the Belarusian lands. It was then, the head noted, that a decisive step was taken toward the reunification of a people divided by unnatural borders, which subsequently enabled our country to withstand the most severe trials of the 20th century.

"The Day of People's Unity is not just a tribute to the past. It is the most important factor in shaping national pride and civic responsibility in each of us," Sergey Khilman emphasized. He explained that awareness of a shared destiny, respect for the history, traditions, and achievements of our ancestors are the solid foundation that enables modern Belarus to confidently withstand external challenges and pressure, while maintaining a dynamic course toward development and creation.

In his speech, the Head of Belhydromet also drew a parallel between the historical unity of the people and the current tasks facing the workforce. He noted that cohesion, professionalism, and a responsible attitude to work on the part of each employee constitute a contribution to the overall security and well-being of the country. The work of the hydrometeorological service, which demands precision and dedication, directly affects the resilience of the economy and the protection of citizens, which is especially important in today's realities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Sergey Anatolyevich warmly congratulated the team on the holiday, wishing everyone good health, well-being, peace, and new professional achievements for the benefit of our beloved Belarus.
