Like all of Belarus Belgidromet bows its head in deep sorrow.

The Great Patriotic War left an indelible mark on the history of Belarus. Destroyed cities and villages, concentration camps, mass graves. Every place bear witness to the horrific tragedy. The genocide of the Belarusian people remains an open wound, a pain we will never forget.

On this day we not only remember the victims but also the heroes. Those who fought selflessly on the frontlines, in partisan units and underground resistance movements. They brought us closer to the long-awaited Victory, believing in a brighter future. Their courage and resilience serve as an example for generations to come, inspiring us today.

Belgidromet, fully aware of its responsibility towards history, honors the memory of wartime heroes. We remember those who tirelessly rebuilt the country from ruins, creating a future for us. We cherish the importance of peace and stability, recognizing the need to protect our homeland.
