Belhydromet took part in the patriotic event "Calendar of Memory. Book of Memory" at Victory Square

Today, June 29, representatives of Belhydromet, as part of the delegation of the Pervomaisky District of Minsk, took part in the significant patriotic event "Calendar of Memory. Book of Memory," held at Victory Square. The event became a symbol of deep respect for the heroic past and a tribute to the memory of those who fell during the Great Patriotic War.

The participants of the event gathered at the Victory Monument to honor the feat of the defenders of the Fatherland. As a sign of eternal gratitude and sorrow for the heroes who gave their lives for the freedom of their homeland, a minute of silence was observed. Afterward, flowers were laid at the foot of the monument.

The turning of the page of the symbolic "Calendar of Memory" became the key moment of the event. Each date in it is not just a number, but a chronicle of courage, irreplaceable losses, and unyielding will to victory. Special attention was paid to the key events of 1944:

– June 25, 1944 – the 1,100th day of the war and the third day of the legendary Operation Bagration, which marked the beginning of the large-scale liberation of Belarus.
– July 3 – the date of the liberation of the city of Minsk from the Nazi German invaders.
– July 28 – the day of the complete liberation of the entire territory of Belarus.

Next to the "Calendar of Memory," the "Book of Memory" was placed. This unique project gives everyone the opportunity to write down the names of their relatives and loved ones who suffered during the war, or to leave words of gratitude to the defenders of the Fatherland, thereby creating a living, personal connection with history and immortalizing the memory of those who survived the terrible war years.

Participation in the "Calendar of Memory" event was for Belhydromet employees not only a tribute to the heroic past of the country, but also a confirmation of their commitment to the principles of patriotism and the preservation of historical truth for future generations. Such events play a key role in fostering civic responsibility and remind us of the importance of peace and unity.
