Belhydromet took part in the Minsk Half Marathon

On September 6, on the eve of Minsk City Day, the capital gave a vibrant, athletic welcome to the participants of the traditional Minsk Half Marathon. The scale of the event was impressive: 30,000 runners from 40 countries of the world took to the start line — the atmosphere was truly international, and the energy of the participants was inspiring from the very first minutes.

The races unfolded on the central streets of Minsk — the heart of the city became the country's main running arena for one day. And, of course, the weather did not stay on the sidelines: it added a genuine Belarusian flavor to the event, becoming yet another participant in this sports celebration.

The program of the day was rich and clearly organized. Everything began at 9:00 — the most enduring runners took to the 10 km distance. Exactly an hour later it was the turn of the half marathoners: the 21.097 km distance required maximum concentration and strength of spirit from the athletes. Then the participants of the 5 km race picked up the baton — it started at 13:00. At 14:00, those who chose the 3 km distance took to the start, and at 15:00 the 1.5 km races and family starts were held — a great occasion to spend time with loved ones and show children how wonderful it is to be part of a big sports event.

The Belhydromet team did not stay on the sidelines and set an excellent example of a healthy lifestyle! On the initiative of the Belhydromet Trade Union, representatives of the management and trade union activists united and together took to the 5 km distance. The team of our organization not only joined the sports celebration — it clearly demonstrated its commitment to a healthy lifestyle and the cohesion of the team.
