BELHYDROMET

From 27 to 30 October 2026, Minsk becomes a centre of attraction for leading specialists in the field of energy and ecology. The jubilee XXX Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum is being held in the capital of the Republic of Belarus, its key event being the international specialised exhibition "Energy. Ecology. Energy Saving. Electro" (Energy Expo-2026).

At the collective stand of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Belhydromet presents an interactive exposition aimed at demonstrating current achievements and innovative solutions in the field of hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring, as well as equipment from the company R-NOX.

The Belhydromet web interface "Hydrometeorology: into the future with new technologies" provides, in real time and via a direct connection to information resources, the opportunity to familiarise oneself with key data:

- meteorological information: actual weather (temperature, wind, visibility, humidity, pressure) and six-day forecasts for all weather stations of the country;
- radar information: radar maps generated on the basis of data from Doppler meteorological radars, used for forecasting and for supporting civil aviation;
- satellite imagery: images of cloud cover, cloud-top temperature, and data on dust in the atmosphere;
- hydrological information: water temperature, water levels, and the state of ice cover for hydrological forecasting purposes;
- radiation monitoring data: gamma radiation dose rate, and information on atmospheric air pollution by radioactive contaminants;
- the Republican Environmental Monitoring Information System (RISAMOS): comprehensive collection, storage, analysis and visualisation of environmental monitoring data, including atmospheric air.

The presented equipment from the company R-NOX (Republic of Belarus) is currently undergoing joint trial operation to assess its metrological characteristics and the possibility of its use in the Belhydromet atmospheric air monitoring network.

Belhydromet's participation in Energy Expo-2026 underscores the importance of environmental monitoring in the context of sustainable development and ensuring the country's energy security. The forum is the largest platform in Belarus for demonstrating energy-efficient technologies and advanced environmental solutions, and Belhydromet actively contributes to shaping a vision of an environmentally responsible future.
