Belhydromet took part in the exhibition of scientific and technical achievements "Belarus intellectual"
On January 20-29, the National Exhibition Center "BelExpo" (Minsk, Pobediteley Ave., 14) hosted the exhibition of scientific and technical achievements "Belarus Intellectual". The exhibition was organized in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, given during a working meeting with the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov on October 18, 2022.
The purpose of the exhibition was to demonstrate the latest scientific developments of Belarusian scientists and students, as well as to promote scientific achievements aimed at a wide audience of representatives of all strata of Belarusian society.
According to the organizers of the exhibition, the exposition set a general focus on the continuous development of Belarusian science, intensive interaction of science, education and production, increasing the introduction of scientific achievements into the real sector and the socio-cultural sphere, as well as an increasing positive impact on the quality of life and well-being of the Belarusian people.
Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, representatives of educational institutions, research public and private organizations of the country, technoparks engaged in scientific research demonstrated their achievements and developments. The exhibition featured more than 400 exhibits. Among them were full-scale samples (including large-sized equipment), layouts, multimedia presentations on large screens.
The exposition of the exhibition was organized according to the cluster principle, which assumed the unification and logical connection of large thematic blocks that are being developed in Belarus and are the most relevant at the present time. Belhydromet took part in the cluster "Energy. Ecology. Nature management".
As part of the exposition of the organizations of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Belhydromet presented videos reflecting information on the Republican System of Automated Environmental Monitoring (RISAMOS), the mobile application "Weather in your Pocket", the system for displaying radar meteorological information of the Meteorad WEB GIS, demonstrated a 3-D model of the Minsk meteorological station and the Doppler meteorological locator, which allowed visitors to familiarize visually themselves with the technical capabilities of Belhydromet in the production of hydrometeorological information. Information materials on environmental issues were presented for a wide range of visitors. Visitors could ask any question they were interested in when viewing the exposition, which were answered by specialists of Belhydromet, as well as representatives of organizations - joint developers with Belhydromet, presented exhibits: LLC "Epol Soft" (RISAMOS) and UP "Geoinformation Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" (Mobile application "Weather in your pocket").
Visitors had free entrance to the exhibition on January 21-29 from 10.00 to 19.00.
