Overview of hydrological situation of September, 5 2024
In the past period (August 31 - September 4) on the Villa at agrotown Steshitsy and the Berezina tributary of the Bobr River near the village Kuty water levels dropped below the water outlet marks on the floodplain.
As of September 5, there is a decrease in water levels on the rivers with a daily intensity of 1-10 cm, only on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk there is a slight (1 cm per day) increase in water levels.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper on the Mogilev – Loev section, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Slavgorod, Krichev and Gomel. On the tributary of the Neman river Ross at the village Studenets water level exceeds the water outlet mark on the floodplain. The water temperature has dropped slightly and ranges in rivers from 14°C to 23°C, in reservoirs – from 21°C to 22°C.
In the coming days, the decline in water levels on the rivers will continue, the water temperature will not change significantly.
