During the past period (September 20-24), a decrease in water levels was mainly observed on the rivers, as a result of which, on the tributary of the Neman, the Ross near Studenets water level dropped below the water outlet mark on the floodplain.
As of September 25, a slight (1-3 cm per day) increase in water levels was observed in the Western Dvina near the village of Ulla, the Vilia near the village of Mikhalishka, the Dnieper in the Orsha–Mogilev section, the Berezina near the town of Svelogorsk, some of their tributaries and individual tributaries of the Pripyat. The rest of the rivers mentioned above, as well as the Neman, Sozh and Pripyat, experience a decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-7 cm.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa, Loev, Berezina near Bobruisk, Svetlogorsk, Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature ranges from 8.2°C to 17°C in rivers and from 12°C to 17°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, there will be a decrease in water levels on the country's rivers, and the water temperature will drop.
