Overview of hydrological situation of September 15, 2022

As of September 15, a small (1-10 cm per day) increase in water levels is observed on the Neman on the Mosty – Grodno section, Vilia on the Mikhalishki – Malye Sviryanki section, Berezina on the Bobruisk – Svetlogorsk section, Sozh on the Krichev – Slavgorod section, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Pripyat near Chernichi and Mozyr, most their tributaries and individual tributaries of the Zapadnaya Dvina. For the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the Zapadnaya Dvina, there is a decline in water levels and their smooth course.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, Pripyat near Chernichi and Mozyr. 
The water temperature is 9.5-16 °C in rivers, 13-16 ° C in reservoirs.
By the end of this week, fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers, and conditions for river transport will improve in Pripyat near the village of Chernichi.
