As of October 6, there is mainly a decrease in water levels and a smooth course on the country's rivers, only on the Western Dvina near the town of Surazh, Polotsk, the Neman near Stowbtsy, Grodno, the Dnieper near Loev, the Berezina near Berezino, the Sozh near Gomel, the Pripyat near Chernichi and Narovlya is experiencing an increase in water levels with an intensity of 1-11 cm per day.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa, Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk, Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature ranges from 7.4°C to 13°C in rivers and from 9.2°C to 12°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the drop in water levels will continue on most rivers.
