Overview of hydrological situation of October 21, 2024
In the past period (October 16-20), an increase in water levels prevailed on the rivers, as a result of which conditions for river transport improved on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk and the Berezina near Svetlogorsk.
As of October 21, the rivers are dominated by an increase in water levels with an intensity of 1-20 cm per day.
On the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk, the Sozh near Slavgorod and Gomel water levels are below the marks limiting navigation.
The water temperature in rivers ranges from 3.0°C to 10°C, in reservoirs is from 6.3°C to 11°C.
In the coming days fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers with a tendency to increase, conditions for navigation on the Sozh near Slavgorod and the Dnieper near Rechitsa will improve.
