As of October 20, an increase in water levels with an intensity of up to 18 cm was noted on the country's rivers due to precipitation. A slight decrease in water levels is observed only on the Western Dvina near the agro-towns of Ulla and the Neman near Grodno.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa, Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk, Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature has dropped and ranges from 4.7°C to 10°C in rivers and from 5.8°C to 8.8°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the rivers will experience fluctuations in water levels with a downward trend.
