As of October 15, most of the country's rivers show a slight (1-10 cm per day) increase in water levels and their smooth course, only on the Western Dvina in the Vitebsk–Ulla and Verkhnedvinsk sections, as well as on the Berezina near Bobruisk, there is a decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-6 cm.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa, Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk, Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature has dropped slightly and ranges from 6.4°C to 9.7°C in rivers and from 7.1°C to 10°C in reservoirs.
By the end of this week, there will be mainly an increase in water levels on the rivers, and the water temperature will decrease.
