As of October 10, on the rivers of the Dnieper, the Berezina, the Sozh and the Pripyat basins, there is mainly an increase in water levels with an intensity of 1-6 cm per day. On the rivers of the Neman and the Viliya basins, there is a decline in water levels and their smooth course, and on the rivers of the Western Dvina basin, small (up to 11 cm per day) fluctuations in water levels are observed.
On the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa, Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk, Svetlogorsk, the Sozhe near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, unfavorable conditions are observed for work of river transport.
The water temperature is within the rivers from 5.6°C to 13°C, in water bodies from 10°C to 12°C.
In the coming days, in some sections of the rivers there will be a slight increase in water levels.
