Overview of hydrological situation of November 30, 2020

In the past period (November 26-29), the rivers were dominated by an increase in water levels, as a result of which conditions for river transport on the Dnieper near Rechitsa and Sozh near Slavgorod.
As of November 30, the increase in water levels is observed on most rivers with a daily intensity of mainly 1-17 cm.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport persist on the Neman near Grodno, Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin and Loev, Berezina near Bobruisk and Sozh near Gomel.
The water temperature has dropped and is 1.4-4.4°C. In reservoirs, in the rivers of the Western Dvina, Dnieper and Sozh basins are 0.8-3.3°C, Neman, Viliya, Berezina and Pripyat are 2.0-4.5°С, Western Bug is 3.2-4.9°С.
In the next five days, on most rivers of the country, the increase in water levels will continue, as a result of which water levels on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Loev and Sozhe near Gomel will exceed the marks limiting navigation. The water temperature will drop, and short-term ice formations may appear in some parts of the rivers.
