Overview of hydrological situation of November 19, 2021

 In the past period (November 16-18), on the Dnieper near the town of Rechitsa, the water level dropped below the mark at which difficulties arise in the operation of river transport.
As of November 19, on the Western Dvina, Neman on the Stolbtsy - Mosty section, the Dnieper on the Mogilev - Rechitsa section, Viliya near the village of Mikhalishki, Pripyat near the city of Pinsk and near the city of Mozyr, some of their tributaries are experiencing an increase in water levels with daily intensity 1-4 cm, along the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the Berezina and Sozha, there is a decrease in water levels and their even course.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, Berezin near Bobruisk, Sozhe near Krichev and Slavgorod.
The water temperature in reservoirs is 2.9-5.6°C, in the rivers of the Western Dvina, Dnieper and Sozh basins, 1.2-3.8 ° C, the Neman, Viliya, Berezina and Pripyat, 2.2-5.0°C, and the Western Bug 4.6-6.0°C.
In the coming days, the rivers will be dominated by an increase in water levels, as a result of which conditions for the operation of river transport on the Dnieper near Rechitsa and Loyev will improve.
