Overview of hydrological situation of May 30, 2025

In the past 24 hours on the Vilia at ag.Steshitsy and on the Svisloch, a tributary of the Berezina, near v.Terebuty the water levels exceeded the water outlet levels on the floodplain.
As of May 30, everywhere on the rivers of the Neman, the Vilia, the Berezina and the Pripyat basins, the water levels are rising with a daily intensity of up to 42 cm. On the Western Dvina near Verkhnedvinsk, the Dnieper in Zhlobin– Loyev area and the Sozh near Gomel an increase in water levels with an intensity of up to 19 cm per day was observed and on the rest of the rivers mentioned above a decrease in water levels with an intensity of up to 24 cm per day was recorded. 
On the Vilia at ag.Steshitsy, the tributaries of the Berezina and on the Svisloch rivers near v.Terebuty and the Bobr in v.Kuty the water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain.
According to the Ministry for Emergency Situations in the Vitebsk region, flooding is observed from the tributaries of the Western Dvina: in the Verkhnedvinsky district it is observed on the sections of roads, in the Gorodoksky district farmsteads and private houses are flooded.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Neman near Grodno. 
The water temperature ranges from 12°C to 20°C in rivers and from 14°C to 17°C in reservoirs. 
In the next days the rise in water levels on most of the country's rivers will continue.
