Over the past period (May 13-14), there was a decrease in water levels on the country's rivers, as a result of which the water level dropped below the level limiting navigation on the Sozh near Slavgorod and on the Dnieper near Zhlobin it reached the level.
As of May 15, a decrease in water levels is observed on the Dnieper, the Berezina, the Sozh, the Pripyat, the greater part of the Western Dvina and parts of the Vilia and the Neman rivers with an intensity of 1-8 cm per day.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman River near Grodno, the Dnieper River near Mogilev, the city of Zhlobin, the Berezina River near Bobruisk, the city of Svetlogorsk and the Sozh River near Slavgorod.
The water temperature ranges from 8.8°C to 14°C in rivers and reservoirs.
By the end of this week, fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers, on the Sozh near the town of Krichev the water level will reach the level limiting navigation.
