Overview of hydrological situation of March 3, 2025
As of March 3, freeze-up and freeze-up with polynyas are observed on the Berezina, the Pripyat, the greater part of the Western Dvina, the Neman, the Dnieper, in some sections of the Sozh and on most of their tributaries. Freeze-up is observed in the reservoirs of Chigirinskoye, Zaslavskoye, Vileyskoye, Soligorskoye, Krasnaya Sloboda, lakes Naroch, Lukomskoye, Drivyaty and Chervonoye. Weather conditions contribute to the change in the ice structure: the ice has darkened, cracks and water have appeared on the ice.
Fluctuations in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-22 cm are observed on rivers.
There will be no significant changes in the level and ice regimes of the rivers in the next 24 hours.
