As of 6 June, the Berezina, the Pripyat, the Western Dvina near Surazh and Polotsk, the Neman at the Belitsa-Grodno section, and the Dnieper at the Rechitsa-Loev section experienced an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of up to 15 cm. At the rest of the above mentioned rivers, as well as on the Vilia and the Sozh rivers, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of up to 10 cm per day.
On the Berezina tributary the Svisloch near the village of Terebuty, the water level exceeds the floodplain outlet mark.
Unfavourable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, the Sozh near Krichev and Slavgorod.
The water temperature has slightly increased and ranges from 15°C to 22°C in rivers and from 17°C to 21°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the growth of water levels will be observed in most rivers of the country.
