Overview of hydrological situation of June 5, 2026
During the past period (May 30 – June 4), a decline in water levels prevailed on the country's rivers. As a result, on the Dnieper River near Mogilev, conditions for river transport operations worsened, while on the Viliya River near the agrotown of Sheshitsy and on the Sozh tributary, the Iput River near Dobrush, water levels fell below the floodplain inundation thresholds.
As of June 5, water levels on the rivers are generally declining, with a daily intensity of 1–8 cm. A slight (1–7 cm per day) rise in water levels is observed only on certain sections of the Berezina River and some small rivers.
On the Neman River near Grodno, the Dnieper River near Mogilev, and the Sozh River near Krichev and Slavgorod, water levels are below the navigation-limiting thresholds.
Water temperatures range from 13°C to 20°C in rivers and from 17°C to 19°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the aforementioned hydrological situation will not change significantly.
