As of June 2, the rivers of the Neman, the Berezina, the Pripyat basins, some of their tributaries, most of the tributaries of the Western Dvina, as well as the Dnieper river in the Zhlobin – Loev area continue to increase water levels with an intensity of up to 23 cm per day. A decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of up to 43 cm is observed on the Western Dvina, the Vilia and the Sozh.
In Vilia at ag.Steshitsy, a tributary of the Berezina to the Svisloch, the water levels are constantly rising above the floodplain outlet marks.
According to the Ministry for Emergency Situations, in the Haradok district of the Vitebsk region, flooding of farmsteads and private houses is observed from the tributaries of the Western Dvina.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno and the Dnieper near Mogilev.
The water temperature ranges from 12°C to 20°C in rivers and from 13°C to 18°C in reservoirs.
There will be no significant changes in the river level regime in the next 24 hours.
