Overview of hydrological situation of July 15, 2022

In the past period (July 12-14), precipitation caused an increase in water levels on most of the country's rivers, resulting in improved conditions for river transport on the Sozh near Krichev and Slavgorod, and on the tributary of the Zapadny Bug to the Lesnaya river near Kamenets and the Berezina tributary to the Beaver river near d. Kuta water levels exceeded the water outlet marks on the floodplain.
Currently, an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-24 cm is observed in the Vilia, the Berezina, the Zapadnaya Dvina on the Surazh-Polotsk section, the Neman on the Belitsa-Grodno section, the Dnieper on the Mogilev-Zhlobin section and in the upper Sozh. In the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as in the Pripyat, its tributaries and tributaries of the Zapadny Bug, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of mainly 1-3 cm per day.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin and Rechitsa, the Berezina near Bobruisk.
Water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the tributary of the Neman river the Ross at d. Studenets, a tributary of the Zapadny Bug to the Lesnaya river near Kamenets and the Bobr river near d. Kuta (tributary of the Berezina).
The water temperature is 14-21 °C in rivers, 18-20 °C - in reservoirs.
In the coming days, fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers with a tendency to increase, on the Berezina near Bobruisk, the water level will exceed the mark limiting navigation, and on the Vilia near ag. Steshitsy water will come out on the floodplain.
