During the past period (August 16-19), there was a decrease in water levels on the rivers, as a result of which the water level on the Berezina near Bobruisk dropped below the level limiting navigation.
As of August 20, a decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-11 cm is observed in the Vilia, the Dnieper, the Berezina, the Sozh, the Pripyat, the greater part of the Western Dvina and the Neman.
At the mouth of the Neman river Ross Studenets water level exceeds the water outlet mark on the floodplain.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, the city of Zhlobin, the Berezina near Bobruisk, the Sozh near Krichev and Slavgorod.
The water temperature ranges from 13°C to 22°C in rivers and from 18°C to 20°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the decline in water levels on most rivers will continue, on the Dnieper near Rechitsa, the water level will drop below the level limiting navigation.
