Overview of hydrological situation of August 19, 2022

In the past period (August 16-18), a decline in water levels was observed on the rivers of the country, as a result of which water levels fell below the marks limiting navigation on the Berezina near Svetlogorsk and Pripyat near Mozyr.
As of August 19, most of the country's rivers are experiencing a decline in water levels with an intensity of mainly 1-22 cm per day.
On the tributary of the Neman river Ross at the village Studenets and the tributary of the Zapadny Bug to the Lesnaya river near the town of Kamenets, water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain by 2 cm and 7 cm, respectively.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, Pripyat near Mozyr.
The water temperature has increased and is 16-25°C in rivers, 22-24°C in reservoirs.
In the next five days, no significant changes are expected in the hydrological situation, the decrease in water levels on the rivers will continue.
