During the past period (August 12-14), water levels mainly decreased on the rivers, as a result of which conditions for river transport worsened on the Dnieper near the town of Zhlobin, and on the Berezina tributary the Bobr near the village of Kuta and the Pripyat tributary the Sluch near the village of Klepchany, water levels dropped below the floodplain outlet marks.
As of August 15, an increase in water levels with an intensity of 1-12 cm per day is observed throughout the Pripyat and on the Western Dvina in the Vitebsk–Ulla section. Throughout the rest of the Western Dvina, as well as on the Neman, Vilia, the Dnieper, the Berezina and the Sozh, there is a decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of mainly 1-21 cm.
On the Neman tributary of the Ross near the village of Studenets, the water level exceeds the water outlet mark on the floodplain.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, the Sozh near Krichev and Slavgorod.
The water temperature ranges from 13°C to 22°C in rivers and from 20°C to 22°C in reservoirs.
In the next five days, fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers, on the Berezina near Bobruisk, the water level will drop below the mark limiting navigation. The water temperature will decrease.
When using the information a reference to Belhydromet is obligatory
