As of August 11, an increase in water levels is observed in Pripyat, the Neman in the Stolbiny – Mosty section, the Western Dvina near the urban settlements of Surazh and Vilia near the agro-town of Steshitsy with an intensity of 1-11 cm per day. The rest of the Western Dvina, the Neman, and the Vilia rivers, as well as the Dnieper, the Berezina, and the Sozh rivers, experience a decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-17 cm.
On the Neman tributary, the Ross near the village of Studenets, the Pripyat tributary, the Sluch near the village of Klepchany, and the Berezina tributary, the Beaver near the village of Kuta, water levels exceed the floodplain outlet marks.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near the city of Grodno, the Dnieper near the city of Mogilev, the Sozh near the city of Krichev and the city of Slavgorod.
The water temperature ranges from 15°C to 22°C in rivers and from 19°C to 22°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, most rivers will experience a drop in water levels, as a result of which conditions for river transport will worsen on the Dnieper near the town of Zhlobin, and on the Berezina tributary to the Beaver near the village of Kuta, the water level will drop below the floodplain outlet mark.
