Overview of hydrological situation of August 10, 2022

In the past period (August 6-9), a decline in water levels prevailed on the rivers of the country, as a result of which water levels fell below the marks limiting navigation on the Dnieper near the town of Loev and Sozh near the city of Gomel.
As of August 10, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of 1-7 cm per day on the rivers of the country, only on the Neman near the village of Belitsa and Grodno, Berezina near Bobruisk, Sozh near Krichev, individual tributaries of the Zapadnaya Dvina and Zapadny Bug, there is an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-24 cm.
Water levels still exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the Neman tributary of the Ross River at the village Studenets and a tributary of the Zapadny Bug to the Lesnaya river near the town of Kamenets.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, Berezina near Bobruisk, Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature has not changed significantly and is 16-23°C in rivers, 21-23°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the rivers will mainly experience a decline in water levels, as a result of which the water level on the Berezina near Svetlogorsk will drop below the level limiting navigation.
