Overview of hydrological situation of April, 9 2024

As of April 10, an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of 8 cm is observed on the Neman, the Dnieper in the Orsha – Zhlobin section, the Vilia near the village of Mikhalishki, the Sozh near Gomel, the Western Dvina near Verkhnedvinsk, as well as some of its tributaries and individual tributaries of the Pripyat. Throughout the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the Berezina and the Pripyat, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of 1-9 cm per day and their smooth course.
The water is located on the floodplain on most rivers of the Dnieper, the Sozh and the Pripyat basins, as well as on certain sections of the rivers of the Neman and the Berezina basins.
In the Pripyat, near the town of Petrikov, the water level exceeds the dangerously high mark by 26 cm, there is a smooth course of the water level.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of coastal territories is noted in most areas of the Gomel region and in some areas of the Mogilev, Brest and Grodno regions.
The water temperature has not changed significantly and ranges in rivers from 7.1°C to 16°C, in reservoirs - from 8.2°C to 12°C.
In the coming days, the above-mentioned level and thermal regimes of the rivers will remain.
