Overview of hydrological situation of April 6, 2021

As of April 6, incomplete freeze-up is observed on lakes Lukomskoye, Drivyaty, Chervone, reservoirs Chigirinskoye and Soligorskoye, ice melts on the spot.
An increase in water levels with a daily intensity of up to 22 cm is noted along the entire length of the Western Dvina and Sozh, a greater length of the Dnieper and in the upper reaches of the Berezina. On Pripyat, there is an even course of water levels and their insignificant (2 cm per day) growth. On the Neman, Viliya and the Western Bug, the water levels decrease with an intensity of 1-12 cm per day, as a result of which the water level on the Neman near Grodno reached a level at which difficulties arise in the operation of river transport.
The water is located on the floodplain on a tributary of the Western Bug to the Narev River near the village of Nemerzha, the Dnieper near the town of Loev, the Berezina near the city of Berezino, its tributaries the Svisloch rivers near the village of Terebuty and Sushanka near the village of Susha, Sozhe near the town of Krichev and the town of Slavgorod, its tributaries, the Vikhra rivers near the town of Mstislavl, Oster near the village of Khodun, Pronya near the village of Letyagi, Besed near the village of Svetilovichi and Iput near the town of Dobrush, Pripyat near the village of Chernichi, the town of Petrikov, the town of Mozyr and Narovlya, its tributaries, the Styr rivers near the village of Lopatino, Goryn near the village of M. Vikorovichi, Sluch near the village of Lenin, Stviga near the village of Korotichi, Ubort near the village of Krasnoberezhye and Ptich near the village of 1st Slobodka.
On Pripyat, near the town of Petrikov, the water level exceeds the dangerous high mark by 3 cm, here there is an even course of the water level.
Water levels are close to dangerous high marks: on the Sozh tributary to the Pronya river near the village of Letyagi, until it reaches it, 2 cm remains, here there is an increase in the water level with an intensity of 5 cm per day; on Pripyat, near the village of Chernichi, 14 cm remains until it reaches, there is an even course of the water level.
In the coming days, an increase in water levels will prevail on the rivers of the basins of the Western Dvina, Dnieper, Berezina, Sozh and Pripyat, as a result of which the water level on the Pronya River near the village of Letyaga will reach a dangerous high level.
