Over the past period (April 26-29) a decrease in water levels prevailed on the rivers, as a result of which the water level dropped below the level limiting navigation on the Berezina near Bobruisk, and the water left the floodplain on the Sozh tributary the Oster near the village Khodun.
As of April 30, an increase in water levels occurs on the Western Dvina in the Vitebsk – Ulla section, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper in the Zhlobin – Loev section and the Sozh near Gomel with an intensity of 1-4 cm per day. In the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the Vilia, Berezina and Pripyat, there is a decrease (up to 29 cm per day) in water levels and their smooth course.
Water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the Sozh near Slavgorod and its tributary the Besed River near agrotown Svetilovichi.
Water levels are below the marks limiting navigation on the Neman near Grodno and the Berezina near Bobruisk.
The water temperature ranges from 8.4°C to 16°C in rivers and ranges from 8.5°C to 14°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the decline in water levels will continue on most rivers, on the Sozh near Slavgorod and on its tributary the Besed near agrotown Svetlovichi water levels will drop below the water outlet marks on the floodplain, and on the Berezina near Svetlogorsk, the water level will approach a dangerously low level.
