Overview of hydrological situation of April, 3 2024

As of April 3, an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-15 cm is observed in the Vilia, the greater length of the Neman and its tributaries, the Dnieper in the Orsha – Zhlobin section, the Pripyat near Pinsk and Petrikov, as well as on its tributaries. In the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as in the Zapadnaya Dvina, Berezina and Sozh, there is a slight decrease in water levels. In most of the rivers of the Dnieper, Sozh and Pripyat basins, as well as in some sections of the rivers of the Neman and Berezina basins, the water is on the floodplain.
In Pripyat, near the town of Petrikov, the water level exceeds the dangerously high mark by 27 cm, there is an increase in the water level with an intensity of 1 cm per day. 
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of coastal territories is noted in most areas of the Gomel region and in some areas of the Mogilev, Brest and Grodno regions.
The water temperature in rivers ranges from 4.7°C to 14°C, in reservoirs – from 6.8°C to 11°C.
In the coming days, most of the country's rivers will experience an increase in water levels due to precipitation.
