Overview of hydrological situation of April 28, 2026
As of April 28, on most rivers of the country, water levels are decreasing (by 1–21 cm per day) or remaining stable. Rising water levels, at a rate of 1–5 cm per day, are observed on the Western Dvina River near the settlement of Ulla, the Pripyat River near the city of Pinsk, some of their tributaries, as well as on certain tributaries of the Western Bug, Dnieper and Sozh Rivers.
Floodplain flooding persists on the Dnieper River along the Zhlobin–Loev stretch and on the Iput River (a tributary of the Sozh).
On the Neman River near the city of Grodno, the water level is below the mark at which difficulties for river navigation are typically recorded.
Water temperatures range from 3.5°C to 11°C in rivers and from 6.6°C to 11°C in reservoirs.
No significant changes in water levels or thermal conditions are expected on the rivers within the next 24 hours.
