The average air temperature in Belarus in November 2025 was +3.5°C, which is 1.9°C higher than the climatic norm. Such and warmer November in Belarus happens about once every 7 years. November was the warmest in 1996 with an average monthly air temperature in the country of +4.9°C, which is 3.3°C higher than the climatic norm.

A positive anomaly in air temperature was observed throughout the country, which was mainly in the range from 1 to 3°C.
In the regional context, the highest values of positive deviations of air temperature from the climatic norm were noted in the Gomel and Mogilev regions (on average, 2.7°C for each region), in the Grodno region the deviations were the lowest (1.1°C).

The daytime temperature in the first half of the month was mostly +6 +14°C. Then the temperature background dropped slightly, and the air temperature was mostly 0 +5°C, and on some days of the third decade it dropped below zero in places. The maximum value (+16.5°C) air temperature reached on the afternoon of November 3 at Drahichyn station.
Nighttime temperatures in the first half of the month were mostly positive in the range of 0 +6°C, in the second half negative temperatures prevailed, and on the coldest nights the temperature dropped to -5°C and below. The minimum air temperature for the month was recorded at the Lyntupy station on November 16 and amounted to -8.8°C.
During the month, an average of 51 mm of precipitation fell in the republic, which amounted to 112% of the climatic norm. Precipitation spread unevenly across the country. There was an increase in precipitation from the southwest to the northeast from 75% to 150% of the climatic norm, respectively.

By region, the most precipitation was recorded in the Vitebsk and Mogilev regions, with an average of 59 mm for each region, or 116 and 130% of the norm, respectively. The lowest is in the Brest region – 39 mm, or 92% of the norm.

Precipitation fell unevenly during the month. There was a shortage of moisture in the first decade of the month, with an average of 35% of the national precipitation rate. In the second and third decades, excessive moisture was noted (175% and 139% of the norm fell, respectively).

Precipitation fell in the form of rain, snow and sleet. Snow cover was established for a short time during the month. The maximum snow height for the month was 16 cm and was observed on November 26 at Vitebsk station. On the last day of the month, snow cover was almost everywhere absent, with the exception of individual stations, where its height ranged from 0.5 cm to 5 cm (Lyntupy).
Fogs were observed during the month, and icy conditions were observed in some areas. On November 26, a dangerous phenomenon of wet snow sticking with a diameter of 36 mm was registered at Vitebsk station. In some places, there was an increase in wind speed with gusts of up to 15 m/s or more. The maximum wind speed was recorded at Bragin station on November 18 and amounted to 16 m/s.
