Review of the agrometeorological situation of May 22, 2019
According to the results of instrumental measure moisture in soil, content of productive moisture is sufficient for growth and development of agricultural crops on most of the country. After past recent rains, increased water content is observed in the north-east part of Belarus as well as in many areas of Brest region and certain areas of Minsk region. However, because of uneven distribution of precipitations, moisture deficit still remains in certain areas of north-west part of Belarus, of Gomel region and in the south of Mogilev region.
In the coming days, short-term rains will support sufficient water availability in soil throughout the country that will contribute to formation of harvest of agricultural crops.
