Overview of agrometeorological situation of September 29, 2026
Moderately warm weather, predominantly without precipitation, promotes the development of winter crops and makes it possible to increase the pace of harvesting potatoes and vegetables and of fodder procurement. Over most of the country, the topsoil is well moistened, and conditions for sowing winter grain crops are developing favorably. In some areas in the northern region, waterlogged soil persists, where field agricultural work is difficult. At the same time, in some southwestern districts, where there was less precipitation, a lack of moisture is felt in the topsoil.
In the coming days, agrometeorological conditions for harvesting and sowing work will be favorable. However, at the end of the week, frosts are expected in places across the republic, and harvested agricultural produce should not be left uncovered in the fields.
